Book Summary: Jules Ambrose hates Josh Chen, which is hard, considering he’s her best friend’s brother. But, there’s a thin line between hate and love, and things between Jules and Josh suddenly start to heat up…
Book Review: This is my favorite book in the series because Jules actually has self respect. She was witty and stood up to Josh, which made them a good match for one another. I thought that their banter was well done, and I was excited to read this book because I could feel their chemistry all the way back in Twisted Love. These two had a lot of tension and chemistry, and it was the most realistic of the books.
Quotes: Since I couldn’t find any good quotes, here are some tha made me laugh (at the book not with it). “Her voluptuous figure wasn’t toned and lean like so many of the women in my gym, but it was soft.” “Children of asshole father’s unite.” “I’ve always wanted to defile the library.” “I was tempted to drag her over my lap and spank her for her insolent tone.”
Spoilers: I actually enjoyed the book until the “I lied” scene, which totally ruined the whole book and relationship for me. Aside from that, the book was not half bad. I just hate that these men are so controlling, and that none of the women are dominant in any of these relationships. Jules is the only one that comes close.
