★★☆☆☆ 2.5 stars

Book Summary:
Victor Frankenstein, a scientist interested in the creation of life, creates a monster with his bare hands. Horrified by his own creation, Frankenstein casts his monster away. Only, when peculiar tragedies begin to befall his family, Frankenstein is left to wonder: is his monster out for revenge?

Book Review:
I found this book to be mediocre. I understand how it was revolutionary for its time, but I just thought that the pace was way too slow. The paragraphs were long and the chapters were dragged on. It was creepy though, which I liked.

Quotes:
“Beware; for I am fearless and therefore powerful.
There is love in me the likes of which you’ve never seen. There is rage in me the likes of which should never escape. If I am not satisfied in one, I will indulge in the other.

Spoilers:
It was interesting to hear what life is like from Frankenstein’s monsters perspective. I thought that was well written. Other than that I felt that the book was a bit boring and very slow.
